BOSTON — Smoked salmon sold in several states including Massachusetts is being voluntarily recalled because of possible health risks.
The FDA reported the fish has possible listeria contamination.
The recalled product, Scotch Reserve Scottish Smoked Salmon, was sold and distributed by St. James Smokehouse between February and June 2022.
The Salmon was distributed to stores located in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Washington State, Virginia, and Wisconsin as well as Safeway Washington State stores.
If consumers have this product the FDA says to dispose of it immediately or return it to the store for a full refund.
As of Friday, no illnesses have been reported.
