“Wood and Smith have been taken into custody by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office until they can be picked up by their parents.” according to a statement from Exeter Police.

“This has been a very difficult time for their family and friends and we’re thankful they were located and no one was injured in the accident that occurred earlier today in Indiana,” said Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin.

Poulin said he wanted to thank the many people who contacted the police department to share tips and other information during the multi-day search effort.
