LYNN, Mass — Every Lynn firefighter was called to battle a massive brush fire that was near homes Friday afternoon.
Despite the expansive fire in Lynn Woods, firefighters tell Boston 25 News there is no immediate threat and residents aren’t expected to have to evacuate.
The Lynn Fire Department asked the public to stay away from the area as crews weaved multiple hose lines through the surrounding streets.
The fire bordered Emerald Drive, Cherry Tree Lane, Peach Tree Lane and South Ridge Circle.
