BOSTON — Ed Sheeran played for the largest crowd in Gillette Stadium history Saturday night. But he put on a special show earlier in the day as well.
The music icon dropped in at a recital at the Tobin Community Center for a surprise collaboration with the Boston Music Project.

Kiss 108 shared video of Sheeran singing his hit song “Eyes Closed” with the kids.
According to Kiss 108, the children had no idea that Sheeran would be coming to share the stage.
“You guys are fantastic. Thanks for letting me play with you,” Sheeran told the kids.
After the show was done, Sheeran invited the children to his show later that night.
