WORCESTER, Mass. — Police have found the body of a missing Worcester hiker in a wooded area located in Westminister, near the Princeton line.
On Tuesday, Worcester Police tweeted that authorities were searching for Akif Qutab, whose vehicle was found in Princeton. Following an extensive search conducted by the Massachusetts State Police Field Service, crews found Qutab’s body in a wooded area in Westminister Tuesday morning.

The death is under investigation by the State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County D.A.’s Office. The Princeton Police, Westminister Police, and Worcester Police are helping assist in the investigation.
