MALDEN, Mass. — Police in Malden are investigating a shooting on Bowdoin Street that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old.
The Middlesex County District Attorney’s office confirmed Tuesday night that it is leading the investigation.

According to a release, at around 7:03 p.m. on Tuesday night, police in Malden responded to a report of a shooting.
When they arrived on scene, officers found the 18-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.

That victim, who has not yet been identified, was later pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the district attorney’s office, Massachusetts State Police, and Malden Police.
