Crews at scene of gas leak in Concord

CONCORD, Mass. — Emergency crews responded to a gas leak in Concord Tuesday afternoon.

The Bedford Fire Department described the leak as “high-pressure.”

In a statement, the Concord Police Department said a gas line was hit in the area of 505 Old Bedford Rd. The road was closed while National Grid and firefighters worked the scene.

One lane has since reopened.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
