REVERE, Mass. — Happening later Tuesday, family, friends, and the law enforcement community will be saying goodbye to fallen Massachusetts State Trooper Tamar Bucci. She was killed in a crash on I-93 in Stoneham last Friday when she was trying to pull over to help a driver in the breakdown lane.
There is going to be a large showing from the law enforcement community. So much so, that they are going to be meeting at Suffolk Downs and then will be bussed to the services. Trooper Bucci had been a state trooper for two years,
The wake for 34-year-old Bucci will be held Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Revere. Then the celebration of Bucci’s life will take place at the same church Wednesday at 11 am.
Condolences have been pouring in from all over, including at the Bruins game last night where they honored Trooper Bucci and all men and women who serve to protect the public during First Responders Night.
Trooper Bucci is survived by her parents and siblings. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions to the Semper Fi Fund.
