BOSTON — Did you purchase a Powerball ticket in Massachusetts for Wednesday night’s drawing? If so, you could have won some cash.
There were no tickets that matched all six numbers in last night’s drawing but there were two winning tickets with a prize of $50,000 and one winning ticket with a price of $100,000 sold in the Bay State, according to the Massachusetts Lottery Commission.
The winning numbers last night were 2, 11, 22, 35, 60 and Powerball 23, with an optional Power Play of 2x.
The $50,000 winners were sold at in Canton at Bay State Wine & Spirit and in Peabody at A One Market.
The $100,00 winner was sold in Nantucket at Island Variety.
There were another nine winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 sold in Monday nights drawing.
Lottery officials said in a news release that Saturday night’s drawing will be for an estimated $1.5 billion.
