Caught on camera: Bear spotted sipping nectar from hummingbird feeders outside Mass. home

RUTLAND, Mass. — We all have our morning routines.

Most of us reach for that fresh cup of coffee. For one hungry bear in Rutland, it’s all about the lip-smacking taste of sweet hummingbird nectar.

Video shared by Brian Howe showed the black bear sipping from one dangling feeder before moving on to slurp the sugary mixture from another feeder.

There has been a bevy of bear sightings across the region this summer.
