LYNN — The man arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found along a road in Saugus is now charged with her murder.
Bruce Maiben, age 44, of Lynn, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment Tuesday in Lynn District Court in the murder of Sherell Pringle, age 40.
Prosecutors say Bruce Maiben was Pringle’s boyfriend.
He was previously charged with tampering with evidence in the investigation into her death.
Pringle, of Woburn, was reported missing after she did not return home from a date with Maiben on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
Her body was discovered the following Tuesday in Saugus.
Maiben is also charged with larceny over $1200, tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice.
