BOSTON — The DraftKings is eliminating 140 jobs as part of a reorganization, the Boston-based sports betting giant told Boston 25 News Wednesday.
The gambling company said the shuffle is in an effort to make the company operate more efficiently.
“With an increased focus on operational efficiencies, we are constantly evaluating our teams to ensure that they are best positioned to meet our company goals in 2023 and beyond,” said a DraftKings spokesperson.
According to CNBC, DraftKings has stated they are shifting investment from business-to-business into mobile developments. Affected segments include engineering and talent acquisition.
Draft Kings and beer brand Molson Coors will unveil a new ad during the Super Bowl on February 12.
