GLOUCESTER, Mass. — The search for “Bear” in Gloucester is over.

During Saturday’s blizzard, Boston 25 reported on a Gloucester woman’s desperate search for her lost dog, Bear.

The 22 pound chihuahua had recently been adopted and accidentally got out of the house when the door was opened.

The chihuahua had been missing for a total of five days - surviving not only the blizzard - but two of the coldest nights this winter.

‘Bear’ was apparently found by MBTA workers on a drawbridge on Monday.

His owner says although he’s a bit skinny, Bear seems to be fine.
