63-year-old man killed in crash on I-495 in Westford

WESTFORD, Mass. — A man was killed after a crash on I-495 North in Westford.

According to state police, around 12:51, officers were dispatched to I-495 North in Westford for reports of a two-car crash.

Upon arrival, troopers found the operator of one of the vehicles, a 63-year-old man from Londonderry, NH, had been ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene.

The Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section, Troop A Detectives, Westford Fire Department and EMS, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner all responded to the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
