MILFORD, Mass. — One person is dead, and another is hospitalized after a single-vehicle tow truck crash happened in Milford late Thursday night on Route 495 northbound at Exit 50.
After further investigation, it was determined that the tow truck was traveling northbound on 495 when, for reasons still under investigation, veered out of its lane before it struck, rode up and over a median guardrail.
The cab of the truck was dangling over Route 16 below. Route 16 was closed for several hours, and Route 495 northbound was reduced to one lane of traffic.
