WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Police have arrested a Brockton man and are still searching for a second suspect in connection to a home invasion in Weymouth.

Just before 2 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to a home on Green Street for a reported robbery after a victim was able to get out of the house and call 911. One of the victims of the home invasion told police they were pistol-whipped and forced into the home by the assailants, who were both wearing ski masks. The suspects reportedly ransacked the home and fled with cash and some other items.

When officers arrived, they found two suspects in dark clothing running toward Shaw Street and into the woods between Neck Street and Green Street. Officers began tracking the footprints in the snow and deployed a Weymouth Police K-9.
