1 person hospitalized following early morning shooting in Boston

BOSTON — An investigation is underway after a shooting early Tuesday morning on Massachusetts Avenue in Boston.

Boston EMS confirmed to Boston 25 News a male victim found was breathing but unresponsive at the scene. He was later sent to a nearby hospital.

Massachusetts Avenue is currently closed at Columbia Road.

The scene remains under investigation at this time by the Boston Police Department.
