BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Massachusetts colleges dominated the latest US News rankings, released Wednesday.
Of the highest-ranked national universities, Harvard University came in at number two, just behind Princeton University. MIT, also featured in the top ten, came in at number seven.
Tufts, Boston College and Brandeis rounded out the top schools at 27, 30 and 34, respectively.
Williams College was named number one when it came to the highest-ranked national liberal arts colleges. Amherst College came in at number two, and Wellesley College tied for number four. Smith College tied for number 14, Holy Cross tied for number 32 and Mt. Holyoke College tied for number 35.
