American Idol contestant and Weston native Sonika Vaid made a stop at Boston Children’s Hospital before traveling back to Hollywood yesterday.
Sonika met 9-year-old patient Ella Powers. Ella is fighting leukemia and is a big fan of Idol and Sonika.
Her mom reached out to Sonika to make the meeting happen. During the visit, the two sang a song at the Ryan Seacrest Studio.
Sonika told FOX25 that Ella is a brave girl and loved spending time with her.
