LEICESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Leicester residents say they've seen a mountain lion-type animal roaming around.
Police are investigating in an effort to positively identify the animal sighting, officials have released a photo taken near Pine Street. Animal Control is also involved, as well as the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.
One resident said, "It was just the biggest cat I've ever seen in my life."
Several Bobcat sightings have also been reported in the area.
Leicester police are asking residents to keep their pets close by due to the sighting.
