NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — A Leicester man is accused of exposing himself to children at a local athletic complex.
The 37-year-old man has been banned from the Teamworks athletic facility in Northborough. He has been charged with open and gross lewdness after allegedly exposing himself to a group of 11-year-old girls playing soccer -- not once, but twice.
George Matthew Fournier reportedly went into the men's room, removed his pants and exposed himself to a few girls from a Shrewsbury soccer league in the hallway.
“He had walked out, and based upon the statements of everyone involved, it was very clear that his intent was for the girls to see him,” Northborough Police Lt. Joseph Galvin explained.
Fournier then allegedly went back into the bathroom and came out a second time, this time making it to the indoor field exposing himself to several more of the girls.
“It's very concerning that that happened. Both my kids are here. Sometimes they run to the bathroom without us right there with them. This whole place is always full of kids,” mother Michelle McLaughlin said in disbelief.
Parents and Teamworks staff jumped into action and detained Fournier until police arrived, according to the investigators' report, Fournier was also caught on surveillance cameras.
