Witnesses at the scene reported hearing popping noises from inside the building and large flames afterward.
“The flames were at least, I would say, 50 feet above the building. There were a few little explosions that happened, which gave it a little more energy,” Steve Christy, the owner of a neighboring business, said.
Fire crews were able to get the main body of the fire extinguished by 11 p.m., but remained on the scene overnight to keep an eye on hot spots.
