BOSTON — The Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon brought in more than $3 million over Tuesday and Wednesday.
WEEI and NESN partnered to broadcast non-stop, raising money for the Jimmy Fund, a foundation that supports Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The presenting sponsor, Arbella Insurance Foundation, contributed the first $100,000 before WEEI and NESN kicked off their efforts.
The Jimmy Fund was established in 1948 and has been supported with over $50 million from the radio telethon since 2002.
