HULL, Mass. — State Police are investigating after a man was fatally hit by a car in Hull on Thursday night.
A Ford Transit van that had been traveling east on George Washington Boulevard hit a person crossing the street at around 9:15 p.m.
The impact of the crash threw the victim, identified only as a 67-year-old Hull man, into the road, seriously injuring him.
The driver of the van, a 49-year-old Hull man, stayed on scene. He was not injured.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries from the crash and was transported to South Shore Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Neither the driver nor the victim's names are being released at this time.
Officials continue to investigate the crash.
