BOSTON — Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker is taking issue with a new movie that was slated to feature comedian Will Ferrell.
The comedy star had signed on to star in and producer a movie based on a popular unproduced screenplay, according to The Wrap -- before reportedly pulling out of the project.
"'Reagan' follows the commander-in-chief as he succumbs to dementia and is convinced by an ambitious intern that he's actually an actor playing the president in a movie," writes The Wrap.
Gov. Baker took to Facebook Friday to condemn the movie for being a comedy about Alzheimer's:

According to The Wrap, a private reading was held for the script with Lena Dunham and Josh Brolin and it was well-received. {C}{C} p
However, PageSix reported Friday afternoon that Ferrell had pulled out of the project. The movie had drawn fierce criticism from many, including Reagan's stepdaughter.
