(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Boston Red Sox outfielder Jonny Gomes now has a permanent reminder of his part in the team's 2013 World Series win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
While his teammate Jake Peavy remembered the celebration by buying his own Duck Boat, Gomes decided to go a different route.
On Friday, Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli tweeted out two photos of Gomes' newest tattoo, which takes up a good portion of the side of his torso.
The tattoo includes what looks like a Red Sox player with a bushy beard, standing in a Duck Boat, flexing his arms and holding the World Series trophy in one hand.
On the side of the Duck Boat, the words "World Champs" are written, as well as the "B Strong" logo.
"How sick is this?!" Napoli tweeted along with the photo.
