FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal stabbing in Framingham.
Police say a woman was found dead from stab wounds at around 5:30 p.m. on Monday in an apartment on Interfaith Terrace.
On Tuesday evening, the Middlesex District Attorney's office announced Christopher McKoy, 25, of Brockton was charged with murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury in connection with the stabbing.
Authorities have identified the victim as 27-year-old Jamee Ammons-Maddrey, of
Framingham.

According to the DA's office, McKoy was Ammons-Maddrey's boyfriend.
Police were alerted by someone who knew the victim who said they could not get in touch with her, the DA said in a statement late Monday.
Police found Ammons-Maddrey stabbed inside the apartment where she was pronounced dead, officials said.
McKoy was arrested in Boston on Monday night for allegedly removing a GPS monitoring device he had been wearing in relation to a case out of Suffolk County. He is currently being held in connection to his open case.
An arraignment date has not been issued for McKoy at this point in time.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
