Foxborough PD seeking help in identifying armed robbery suspect

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Foxborough Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying a man they say held up a liquor store last Saturday.

Authorities are investigating an armed robbery which happened at the Hops and Grapes Beer & Wine store on Commercial Street at around 8:45 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 5'3" and 5'6", slim build was was seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and pants. Police also say his face was partially covered with a mask.

During the robbery, the suspect brandished a weapon at the store employees.

He is believed to have fled the scene in a dark colored SUV.

Police are hoping the facial resolution in the photos released might help those familiar with the suspect identify him.

This is the second armed robbery with a gun in recent weeks, after the Shell station on Commercial Street was also robbed at gun point on Nov. 6 last year.
