FITCHBURG, Mass. — Domino's Pizza is hoping to make a difference in Fitchburg.

The company launched a public relations campaign this year to fix potholes in towns, according to the company, to pave the way for pizza delivery.

A spokesperson for the company told Boston 25 News Fitchburg was chosen thanks to an overwhelming number of nominations from residents.

The Worcester County town will be one of the first 11 cities selected to receive a grant.

The company received so many nominations, it says the program will pave at least one community in each state.
