WINTHROP, Mass. — One year after a walker found her body in a trash bag, family members gathered on Winthrop's Deer Island to remember 2-year-old Bella Bond.
"I only had her for nine months of her life you know and I enjoyed every moment with her. She was angel," said Patricia Quinn, Bella's paternal grandmother.

Quinn and others visited a memorial for the girl Sunday left a rosary around the small statue of a baby doe.
She was known as Baby Doe for months until police arrested her mother, Rachelle Bond, and her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy.McCarthy is charged with first degree murder. Bond is charged as being an accessory after the fact.
