FALL RIVER, Mass. — A Fall River Firefighter may be responsible for making fake calls to 911, according to the town's fire chief.
Kyle Cusick, 33, is being investigated over allegations he made 16 calls to emergency services reporting fake fires.
Fall River Fire Chief John Lynch confirmed the investigation to Boston 25 News and said Cusick has been placed on administrative leave pending its completion.
"If found to be guilty of this, Mr Cusick will suffer the direst of consequences from this Department," Lynch said in an email to Boston 25 News.
Chief Lynch said Cusick has been on leave since the beginning of January.
