Ex-fiancé held without bail in murder of North Andover woman

SALEM, Mass. — A man accused of killing his ex-fiancée in North Andover has been held without bail, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.

Brian Chevalier, 52, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Wendi Rose Davidson in court Thursday. Davidson was found dead April 20 in her home.

Prosecutors say Chevalier killed Davidson and fled to Mexico, where he was arrested on April 25.

He was returned to Massachusetts Wednesday and was ordered held without bail by Judge Timothy Feeley Thursday.
