MALDEN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Malden Animal Control officer is hoping to identify a dog, that was left tied to a pole in Malden, and his former owner.
Malden Animal Control officer Kevin Alkins found a dog tied to a pole Friday morning in front of an auto business. It is believed that the owner wanted to abandon the dog.
The dog is older, and in the custody of animal control, officials say. Police are looking for someone to possibly identify the dog so they can find the owner. They are also trying to access surveillance footage.
Adoption possibilities will be determined if the dog's owner is found.
