DA identifies all 12 bodies from Weymouth storage facility

WEYMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Suffolk County District Attorney's office says it has identified all 12 bodies that were recovered from a Weymouth Storage facility and now needs the public's help in contacting the family of three of the deceased.

The bodies were among those held in storage by Joseph V. O'Donnell, who is facing 278 charges, including improper disposal of human remains, larceny, returning a false death certificate, and acting as a funeral director without a license.

O'Donnell, who operated a Neponset Avenue funeral home, allegedly returned cremated remains for eight of the 12 individuals to families that were not of the deceased.

Suffolk County prosecutors need help reaching out to the families of William J. McDougall, who was born in Washington state and was a resident at St. Joseph Nursing Center in Dorchester before he died at 67; Maggie Moore, born in Alabama and was a resident at Annemark Nursing Home in revere before dying at 64; and Sadie Waddy, born in Virginia and was a resident of Bay Point Rehab in Brockton before she died at 90.

Anyone with information about the three are asked to call civilian investigator Brian Bukuras of the district attorney's special prosecutions unit at 617-619-4144.
