NEWTON, Mass. — Two boats went up in flames at a yacht club in Newton early Tuesday morning.
Crews responded to the scene just past 3:30 a.m. Flames could be seen shooting out of two boats at the Newton Yacht Club on Nonantum Road.

The two boats that went up in flames were cut loose from the dock to save the surrounding boats. Some nearby boats were damaged by the flames.
Officials have not yet determined a cause of the fire. An investigation is underway.
