WELLESLEY, Mass. — Early Thursday afternoon a woman attempted to drop off her mail in the mailboxes located in the Wellesley post office roundabout.
However she was too far away from the mailbox while in her car so she opened her door and instead of hitting the brake she hit the gas pedal, striking two parked cars, police say.
The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment, she was conscious and alert. Boston25 is working to learn more about any injuries she sustained and further information about the crash.
