BOSTON — A driver hit a hydrant on Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester Monday, causing water to flood the area.
The water filled three lanes along the major roadway in Dorchester near the 900 block.

The water was shut off and crews are waiting for the car that hit the hydrant to be removed before assessing the damage.
The flood is causing traffic delays in the area.
