MARSHFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A child was injured after being struck by a car while sledding in Marshfield, according to authorities.
The Marshfield Fire and Police Departments responded to a scene near the fire station at 10:55 a.m. after a person walking by stated that a child had been run over by a car while sledding. An ambulance and fire truck were sent to the scene.
The child, who was not identified, was found with injuries to both ankles and was taken to South Shore Hospital.
