) -- A toddler was hit by a car in Brockton Monday night and suffered head trauma, sources tell FOX 25.
The child, a 3-year-old girl, was flown via medical helicopter to a Boston hospital where she is believed to be in stable condition.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Fuller and Bartlett streets in Brockton. A witness to the accident told FOX 25 that the child had just gotten an ice cream from an ice cream truck. She turned to run across the street when a car tried to drive around the truck and struck the child.
