CANTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A car drove completely into a Dunkin Donuts on Washington Street Sunday.
Canton Police said it appears the driver of a Honda Crossover accidentally hit the gas instead of the break pedal. Police said there are non-life threatening injuries and the driver, a 52-year-old woman, and a Dunkin Donuts employee were taken to Boston area hospitals.
"It's a miracle that the operator wasn't hurt more seriously; anybody in the store wasn't more seriously and pedestrians," said Lt. Patty Sherrill.
Church street was closed while police and fire investigated. The store is currently boarded up.
