CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — A fire broke out on Mass. Ave in Cambridge Monday morning, prompting a large response from the city's local fire department.

The blaze occurred at a building located at 1436 Mass. Ave in the city, according to Cambridge Fire. The department responded with a flurry of firefighters on scene.

Cambridge Fire announced just after 8:30 a.m. that the fire had been knocked down and that cleanup was underway.
