BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Bridgewater State University said Wednesday night that recent allegations of sexual abuse on their campus were unfounded.
On Tuesday, police were searching for a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a student on the university's campus. An 18-year-old woman said she was going to meet an unknown man near the Rondileau Campus Center when she was assaulted near the parking garage Monday night. The victim claimed she had been communicating with the man through the social networking app, Kik.
However, on Wednesday, the school said their investigation into the matter was closed and that the allegations were "unfounded."
