BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Boston Yeti, who rose to fame after being seen wandering the streets of Boston during this winter's many snowstorms, has a new job.
In a spoof "highlight reel" of memorable moments from this winter's snow press conferences released by the city of Boston Sunday morning, the Yeti appeared at the end (after multiple other cameos, including one from Chewbacca, of Star Wars fame) taking over the reins from Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.
"Hey! I see somebody," Mayor Walsh says.
"Do you want to be mayor?" Walsh asks the Yeti.
Without speaking, we're then shown the Boston Yeti getting comfortable in its new digs, even rewriting Mayor Walsh's nameplate to read "Boston Yeti Mayor."
Despite multiple photos capturing the Yeti throughout Boston, the creature continues to remain anonymous. It did, however, post photos with Mayor Walsh and Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans to its Twitter page on Sunday.
