Thankfully, no one was hurt.
However, officials say the damage could cost around $225,000 and the repair money could come out of the school district or city's funds. It will not be covered by insurance.
The playground likely won't be finished by the end of the school year, so the kids wont' have a playground for the last month. The school is considering taking kids to a nearby field of a an indoor gym at a community center.
The parent council and the principal of the school have set up a fundraising website for anyone wishing to donate towards rebuilding the playground. Click here to donate.
