BOSTON — The annual outdoor reenactment of one of the most pivotal events in the American Revolution has been cancelled, according to the Bostonian Society.
The organization said the outdoor portion of the day-long event will be cancelled this year due to "extreme cold weather in the forecast."
The events includes the trial and a town meeting reenacted inside the Old State House, but the outdoor portion recreating the killing of five Bostonians by British soldiers has been cancelled.
The annual commemoration normally takes place outside the Old State House where the actual Boston Massacre occurred.
