BRIGHTON — Boston College has announced that students continue to get sick after eating at the Chipotle in Cleveland Circle.
The number of sick students now stands at 140, up from 80 on Tuesday and 30 Monday.
According to Director of University Health Services Dr. Thomas Nary, the symptoms are consistent with Norovirus.

Nary said it can take between two and eight days for symptomsto begin. Those symptoms include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, and generally the virus does not require medical treatment.
Students who are sick are have been in contact with someone who is sick are advised to drink plenty of fluids, rest, and eat small meals.
Final exams are scheduled to begin next week and students who are ill should coordinate with their professors.
According to the college nearly all of the students confirmed eating at the restaurant.
In response to the illness Boston College has increased the cleaning efforts around campus, stopped self-service in the dining halls and is allowing students to purchase meals for their sick friends.
