BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Boston-bound flight was diverted to Buffalo after reports of a smoke odor in the cockpit, Jetblue told FOX25.
Jetblue said flight 1012 from Chicago O'Hare to Boston was diverted out of an abundance of caution.
The aircraft landed safely in Buffalo just before 11:45 a.m. and was inspected.
Customers were then sent to Boston on other flights.
When a passenger on the flight tweeted at Jetblue, the company responded that all passengers would receive credits towards a future Jetblue flight.
@aletseatipul Were you on Flight #1012, Estela? That flight is receiving credits so please be sure to watch your email for details.
