WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A bear had quite the day playing in the backyard of a West Springfield home Wednesday.
Video from Kimberly Burke shows the bear playing in the hay bales behind her house. Burke said the bear untied and destroyed three bales; photos show the bear rolling around in the hay and also lounging in it.

Burke said when she snapped photos of the bear, she's pretty sure it smiled right at her.
"He was very playful!" she wrote.
The bear also played with her grandson's ball and kiddie pool. Unfortunately, his sharp claws popped both of them.
