BOSTON — One person has died after being shot inside a Dorchester barber shop Tuesday morning.
The victim was a customer getting his hair cut at Creole International Style on Stoughton Street.
“It's a shock for me at this point, sad,” shop owner Djonny Fernandes said.
Fernandes wasn’t working at the time, but said he was called by a barber who said there had been three shots fired.
Boston police have not released the name of the victim, but Fernandes said he was a regular customer.
A young boy was at the other end of the shop also getting a haircut during the shooting, he wasn’t injured and neither were the two barbers working at the time.
