NEWBURY, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have identified the woman found dead on Plum Island last weekend as a 59-year-old Newburyport woman.
The Essex district attorney's office said Wednesday that the woman has been identified by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as Jocelyn McLaughlin.
The body was found Sunday morning by two people walking on the beach at the Parker Wildlife Refuge in Newbury.
The death is not considered suspicious.
